During the first flag-raising ceremony held at the Bunker today, July 4, under his term as the province’s local chief executive, Governor Joet Garcia underscored his goal of bringing the services of the Provincial Government of Bataan closer to each municipality.
Joet said.
Aside from responding to the needs of the people, this plan is intended to identify and analyze the different needs in each municipality from health, social services, livelihood opportunities, and the like.
Continuously being vocal about aligning families to the vision of the province through parenting programs, he also stressed his idea of creating a system that would determine if the personal goals of the employees of the provincial government for their families are reached just like how the Performance Governance System (PGS) measures the targets of each individual in the province’s vision.
Gov. Joet also asked the Provincial Health Office for the continuous delivery of basic services they offer prior to the pandemic which will intensify government efforts for health along with the implementation of Universal Health Care Law.
During his term as a Congressman of the Second Congressional District, Gov. Joet has spearheaded programs for healthy lifestyle like Tobacco-free Generation Movement and Kabataan at Kalusugan para sa Kinabukasan (KKK).
